About the Role:

At Xtremax, we build mission-critical digital platforms and software solutions for public sector and enterprise clients. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on technology professional to join our project delivery team supporting the National Heritage Board (NHB).

Responsibilities:

• Canary Setup & Observability: Design, configure, and maintain AWS CloudWatch Synthetics Canaries and related monitoring capabilities, implementing health checks, performance metrics, logs, and alerts in accordance with agency observability requirements.
• CI/CD & Runner Migration: Plan and execute the migration of existing application-managed CI/CD runners to Gov Tech-managed runners, assessing dependencies, configurations, and environment variables for seamless deployments.
• Backend Integration & AI Support: Design and maintain backend integration components, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and associated APIs to enable AI-enabled applications to securely access authorised knowledge sources.
• SHIP-HATS Pipeline & IaC Support: Establish, configure, and manage SHIP-HATS CI/CD deployment pipelines, progressively migrating manual components towards Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates for consistent multi-environment provisioning.
• Operations & Quality Assurance: Strengthen engineering quality through testing, code reviews, secure coding, dependency hygiene, and troubleshooting cross-layer deployment or infrastructure issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in application infrastructure, DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise software engineering.
• Hands-on experience supporting production applications, troubleshooting across application/infrastructure layers, and managing CI/CD deployment automation.
• Strong experience working with cloud-hosted applications, modern architectures, and cloud environments (AWS / GCC).
• Proven track record with SHIP-HATS, StackOps, or Singapore Government Tech Stack platforms and ICT/GCC environments.
• Familiarity with application observability, performance monitoring, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
