Job Description

Requirements

  • Degree, Master’s Degree or PhD in Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Material Science, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.

  • At least 10 years of relevant semiconductor industry experience.

  • Strong experience in Process Engineering, Material Engineering, Equipment Engineering or Package Development.

  • Strong knowledge of Front-of-Line and End-of-Line semiconductor processes and development.

  • Proven experience in semiconductor assembly, package integration and production testing.

  • Proficient in engineering analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.

  • Able to evaluate complex technical matters from a strategic and commercial perspective.

  • Strong decision-making ability and capable of working effectively under pressure.

  • Able to provide innovative technical solutions aligned with technological developments and market changes.

  • Strong leadership, communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define new manufacturing platforms for existing products to achieve design-to-cost and quality objectives.

  • Provide technical leadership for quality and productivity improvement activities.

  • Resolve complex technical issues involving Frontend-to-Backend and Backend-to-Backend integration, including pre-assembly, assembly and testing.

  • Manage technical interfaces between processes, equipment and materials.

  • Establish technical direction and implement continuous improvements through monitoring and analysing quality, productivity and operational indicators.

  • Lead technical and process governance for new product and package introductions.

  • Manage process complexity, Process Block Catalogue development and production stability improvements.

  • Drive product and package redesign initiatives where required.

  • Lead cross-functional improvement teams to achieve quality, productivity and speed KPIs across Assembly and Test operations.

  • Apply structured problem-solving and analytical methodologies to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
