Role Description The QA Tester – Insurance Domain role is a contract, on-site position based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. The individual in this role will execute manual test cases for insurance-related applications, validate system functionality against business requirements, and document test results clearly and accurately. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing test cases, performing functional, regression, and integration testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers and business analysts to resolve issues. The QA Tester will also participate in test planning activities, support UAT, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and standards. Close coordination with project stakeholders is expected to ensure that delivered software meets quality and compliance expectations within the insurance domain.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Manual Testing skills for enterprise or insurance-related applications.
• Candidates should possess solid Test Execution skills and experience in creating and maintaining Test Cases.
• Candidates should possess well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify defects, and troubleshoot issues.
• Relevant experience in the insurance domain, particularly with policy, claims, or underwriting systems, is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and basic test management platforms is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Greater Kuala Lumpur, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in English.
• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in QA/testing.
• Experience with basic SQL queries, API testing concepts, and an understanding of SDLC and STLC is an advantage.
