Job Summary
Perform quality assurance and control inspections across production stages to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements. Lead defect investigations, manage corrective actions, and support continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process, and finished product inspections to verify quality compliance
Conduct dimensional and visual inspections based on engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify deviations
Investigate product defects and non-conformities, and implement follow-up actions to resolve issues
Prepare and maintain accurate QA/QC reports, inspection records, and quality documentation
Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and track resolution progress
Investigate customer complaints and coordinate corrective measures to enhance product quality
Assist in implementing ISO quality management system requirements and support internal and external audits
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues effectively
Monitor and improve quality control procedures and inspection standards to reduce defects
Maintain calibration and control of measuring instruments to ensure measurement accuracy
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing production defects and enhancing quality
Required competencies and certifications
Relevant work authorization to work in Singapore
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field
2–3 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing
Experience in plastic manufacturing, injection moulding, or engineering manufacturing
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, product specifications, and inspection requirements
Experience using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems
Familiarity with NCR, CAPA, 8D, or similar quality improvement methodologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Willingness to work Monday to Saturday
