Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented M&E Engineering Intern to join our team in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur. This internship provides an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering works, including drawing coordination, site inspections, testing, documentation, defect rectification, and project handover activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with our engineers and gain practical exposure to engineering coordination and project execution in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with M&E drawing coordination and review.
• Assist in conducting site inspections and monitoring M&E installation works.
• Support testing and commissioning activities for M&E systems.
• Prepare, organise, and maintain engineering documents and project records.
• Assist in monitoring and coordinating defect rectification works.
• Support project handover activities, including the preparation and compilation of relevant documents.
• Coordinate with project team members and other departments on M&E-related matters.
• Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, M&E Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and construction processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other engineering software will be an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organised, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work on-site when required.
• Able to commit to a 3–6 month internship.
