  • Review accounting entries, reconciliations, schedules, management accounts and other work prepared by team members.
  • Analyse financial information and investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Liaise directly with clients on accounting matters, outstanding information and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and other professional parties where required.
  • Monitor and update clients on relevant statutory and compliance deadlines, including audit, tax and SST submissions.
  • Plan and manage work schedules to ensure assignments and submission deadlines are completed on time.
  • Guide and support junior team members in their day-to-day work and professional development.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing work processes and enhance efficiency through better use of systems, automation and technology.
  • Assist with other accounting, reporting and finance-related assignments as required.
  • For Supervisor-level candidates, coordinate and monitor assignments across team members to ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • For Supervisor-level candidates, perform higher-level reviews and provide guidance on accounting matters and issues arising from client engagements.
  • For Supervisor-level candidates, supervise, coach and provide feedback to junior team members.

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and/or professional qualification such as ACCA or equivalent.
  • Relevant working experience in accounting, with experience handling full sets of accounts.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple client portfolios and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in an outsourced accounting or professional services firm will be an added advantage.
  • Prior exposure to audit and/or tax will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in reviewing the work of junior team members will be advantageous.
  • For Supervisor-level candidates, prior experience in reviewing accounting work, coordinating assignments and supervising junior team members is preferred.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount, Xero, Bukku or similar systems.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and adopt new accounting systems, digital tools and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation and more efficient ways of working.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients and team members.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible and able to manage priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Willing to travel to clients’ premises when necessary.
