Coordinator (Cashier + Admin) responsible for front-end transaction handling, basic branch administrative support and ensuring a positive customer experience. Role includes cashier operations, cash reconciliation, compliance with cash-handling policies, customer service, inventory support, record keeping and coordination of branch events and service/spare-part requests.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process sales using cash, credit/debit cards, e-wallets and digital payment methods; issue sales orders, receipts, delivery orders and cash & carry documents.
- Count and verify cash balance at the beginning and end of each shift and ensure 100% correct daily cash reconciliation.
- Monitor sales activities for irregularities and report suspicious transactions; ensure compliance with company cash-handling and POS policies.
- Greet walk-in customers, handle basic inquiries on pricing, promotions, product information and store policies; manage incoming phone calls, WhatsApp messages and emails.
- Maintain a clean, organized cashier station and ensure POS systems are functioning; report technical issues promptly.
- Prepare daily sales reports, file payment documentation and support submission of daily and monthly financial reports.
- Assist with stock-taking, update stock movements and help maintain stock accuracy for items handled at the cashier.
- Address customer complaints courteously, provide initial solutions and escalate unresolved issues to supervisors or branch management.
- Track and follow up on service/repair items, maintain records and update customers on status.
- Coordinate and support branch events, roadshows and promotional setups, including mobile POS setup, cash control and event sales records.
- Ensure price tags, promo tags and product labels are correct and aligned with system pricing and campaigns; conduct daily checks for accuracy.
- Coordinate spare part requests, check availability, prepare orders, record spare part sales/usage and follow up on deliveries; support basic troubleshooting coordination with technicians and service team.
- Act as acting PIC support when supervisor/manager absent: oversee daily operations, cashier control, showroom presentation and team assignments; escalate critical matters to management.
