Job Summary:
FORUM HOTEL is seeking a friendly, professional, and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in shaping their stay by providing exceptional customer service from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, thrives under pressure, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet arriving guests warmly, verify reservations, assign rooms, and issue room keys.
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the hotel Property Management System (PMS).
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, responding promptly to inquiries about rates, amenities, and availability.
• Process payments, issue receipts, handle cash transactions, and balance the daily shift drawer.
• Address and resolve guest complaints or special requests with diplomacy, patience, and a professional demeanor.
• Provide accurate local information regarding restaurants, transportation, and nearby attractions.
• Coordinate directly with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are clean and ready on time.
• Maintain a neat, organized, and professional reception area.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a customer service, hospitality, or front desk role is preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel software is a strong asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities with close attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
