Knowledge / Experience Required :

• At least 4 years of experience in a professional tax firm.

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• A committed team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical and meticulous with strong attention to detail.

• High integrity and able to work independently.

Academic / Professional Qualification :

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or an equivalent field.

• Ensure legal, regulatory, and tax compliance.

• Ensure accurate tax provisions for the Group.

• Compile information required for drafting statutory tax disclosures and coordinate the completion of tax disclosures.

• Oversee the Group’s tax reporting process, including organizing deliverables and timelines with tax agents and auditors.

• Estimate forecasted profitability for the purpose of determining interim tax payments.

• Prepare withholding tax clearances and other ad hoc tax filings as required.

• Conduct historical reviews of the Group’s related party transactions to ensure compliance with Transfer Pricing policies.

• Continuously perform tax health checks for the Group and propose improvement initiatives.

• Liaise with tax authorities on audits and investigations, as well as applications and appeals on tax-related matters.

• Assist in research and analysis of tax issues in Malaysia and other jurisdictions as assigned.
