Minimum SPM or College qualification

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computerised accounting systems, such as SQL Accounting

Soft Skills: Good attention to detail, strong organisational and time management skills, and effective communication skills

Data Entry: Handle accurate and timely entry of accounting and company data

Filing & Documentation: Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records and documents

Reconciliations: Perform routine bank and ledger reconciliations under the manager's supervision

Microsoft Office: Use Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel, for daily tasks

Accounting Software: Use SQL Accounting Software or other accounting software for accounting-related tasks

Closing Support: Assist the Account Manager with month-end and year-end closing procedures

Reporting Assistance: Assist in compiling trial balances, audit schedules and month-end closing documents

Compliance Support: Assist with local statutory requirements such as tax filings and e-invoicing processes
