Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detailed-oriented Aviation Technical Services Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will provide critical technical support for aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations. You will be responsible for evaluating airworthiness directives, developing engineering orders, troubleshooting complex aircraft system anomalies, and ensuring strict compliance with aviation regulatory authorities (such as CAAS, FAA, or EASA). The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in aeronautical systems and a deep commitment to aviation safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide engineering solutions and technical dispositions for unscheduled defects, structural repairs, and system malfunctions reported during aircraft maintenance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Review, evaluate, and implement mandatory modifications from Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and Service Letters (SLs).
  • Engineering Documentation: Author and issue technical documents, including Engineering Orders (EOs), repair schemes, and work instructions in accordance with approved data (AMM, SRM, IPC).
  • Reliability Monitoring: Analyze fleet technical data, component failure trends, and reliability reports to recommend corrective action plans that reduce technical delays.
  • Liaison & Communication: Act as the primary technical point of contact between production floor mechanics, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs like Boeing, Airbus), and regulatory inspectors.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance: Support root-cause analysis investigations for technical incidents and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety management systems (SMS).

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of working experience in an aviation engineering, MRO facility, or airline technical services environment.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of local and international aviation regulations (e.g., CAAS Part 21/145, FAA Part 145, or EASA Part 145).
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret complex blueprints, structural repair manuals (SRM), and electrical wiring diagrams (WDM).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, high attention to detail, and robust technical writing skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) or specialized training certifications on specific commercial aircraft types (e.g., A320, B737, B777).
  • Experience with aviation ERP/maintenance management software (e.g., SAP, AMOS, Maintenix).
