Job Description
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food items according to the company’s recipes, menu requirements, and standard operating procedures.
Handle
bulk food preparation
for multiple restaurants and outlets.
Prepare ingredients including vegetables, meat, sauces, curry bases, spices, and other cooking ingredients.
Assist in the preparation of curry, gravy, sauces, sambal, marinades, fried items, and other food products as required.
Ensure all food is prepared according to the required
taste, quality, consistency, and portion standards
.
Follow daily production schedules and ensure food is prepared and ready for delivery to outlets on time.
Measure and use ingredients accurately according to recipes and production requirements.
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including cooking ranges, ovens, fryers, mixers, food processors, and other equipment.
Monitor cooking temperatures and cooking times to ensure food is properly cooked and safe for consumption.
Previous experience as a
Cook, Kitchen Cook, Central Kitchen Cook, or Kitchen Assistant
is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 4 years experience in Prata Flipping
