Smartlink Engineering Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian contract manufacturing company serving high-precision industries including semiconductor, automotive and aerospace. Our capabilities include precision machining, sheet metal fabrication, electrical and mechanical assembly, cable and wire harnessing, control panels and system integration.

We are looking for a CNC Technician / CNC Machinist to join our Production team and support our machining operations.

Current Location : Seksyen 32, Shah Alam

New Location : Sijangkang Selangor - we will moved to the new facilities by Quarter 1, 2027.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor CNC machines according to production requirements and work instructions.
• Set up CNC machines and prepare tools, fixtures and materials for production.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Perform machining operations according to required dimensions and specifications.
• Conduct basic inspection and measurement of machined components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Make basic machine adjustments to ensure product quality and production requirements are achieved.
• Monitor machine performance and report any machine abnormalities or production issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are properly maintained and kept clean.
• Follow production schedules, safety procedures and quality requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting machining or production-related issues.
• Maintain proper records related to production and machine operations.
• Perform other duties related to CNC machining as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements :

• Minimum SPM / SKM / Certificate / Diploma in Machining, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Candidates with experience in CNC machining, CNC operation, CNC setup or precision machining will have an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Able to read and understand technical / engineering drawings.
• Familiar with basic measuring instruments such as vernier caliper and micrometer.
• Basic knowledge of CNC machines, machining processes and cutting tools.
• Willing to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Willing to do overtime and willing to work on shift rotation.
