Responsibilities
Our client is an established marine fuel supplier in Singapore’s bunkering and shipping sector. They’re looking for a hands-on Accountant to run the full set of accounts and help set up processes for their tax incentive programme.
What You’ll Do
Run the full set of accounts end to end in the company’s ERP system
Prepare monthly closing reports and management accounts
Prepare audit schedules and work with external auditors
Prepare and file GST returns
Support tax computation and analysis
Help set up and roll out processes for MSI-AIS or GTP compliance
Check that transactions are posted to the correct revenue and cost centres
Core Key Skills
At least 3 years of full-set accounting experience
Hands-on MSI-AIS or GTP experience covering setup, implementation and audit
Good working knowledge of Singapore GST reporting
Experience preparing monthly closing and audit schedules
Experience with tax computation
Familiarity with cost centre and revenue centre accounting
Works independently and copes well in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Background in shipping, bunkering or commodity trading
