We are looking for an experienced Mold Polisher to join our Toolroom team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying proper polishing techniques to achieve specified surface finishes (mirror/texture finish) on plastic injection mold inserts, cores, cavities, and components according to engineering drawings and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Surface Finishing & Spec Quality: Perform precision hand and machine polishing on mold inserts and components to achieve required surface finish specifications.
• Tooling & Equipment Care: Select and properly use polishing tools, abrasives, and equipment, adhering strictly to standard operating procedures and maintenance practices.
• Production Schedule Alignment: Follow production timelines provided by supervisors to ensure on-time completion of tooling polishing jobs.
• Safety & Workplace Standards: Follow company safety rules, continuously refine polishing techniques, and maintain clean work area housekeeping (5S).

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of working experience in plastic injection mold polishing.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in mold polishing techniques, surface finish requirements, and proper handling of precision polishing equipment/tools.
• Work Ethic: Detail-oriented, strong patience for precision handwork, and committed to meeting tooling production schedules.

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 8.30am - 6.00pm
