About the Roles

Join an industrial equipment manufacturer as a Customer Consultant / Service Sales Engineer based in Boon Lay. This permanent position follows a five-day work week, Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 5.30pm, and offers a basic salary of up to $4,800, transport allowance, and variable bonus. The role focuses on developing customer relationships, identifying service solutions, and driving account growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Serve as the primary contact for customers and manage customer-related matters.
• Manage assigned accounts, identify key customers, and develop plans to grow these accounts.
• Build customer loyalty through regular support, follow-up, and relationship management.
• Identify opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
• Introduce customers to relevant service value-added offerings.
• Assess customer needs and collaborate with the Technical Support Team to deliver suitable solutions.
• Identify sales opportunities, prepare proposals, and coordinate the required sales processes.
• Present proposals and recommended solutions to customers.
• Arrange regular service reviews with customers and the Operations team to address urgent jobs and key concerns.
• Handle customer complaints by coordinating internal investigations, evaluating possible solutions, and recommending appropriate options.
• Monitor customer and industry needs to support pricing and sales strategies.
• Prepare and review contract terms and conditions.
• Gather and share market feedback on competitors, customer expectations, and industry trends.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least two years of relevant sales experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, chiller plants, airside systems, energy services, and building services is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents, written instructions, emails, and reports.
• Ability to respond professionally to customer enquiries and complaints.
• Ability to identify issues, collect relevant data, and draw sound conclusions.
• Customer-focused approach with the motivation to recommend suitable options that address customer needs.
• Willingness to learn new solutions and strengthen skills to provide better customer support.
