Diploma or higher in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement.

Experience in electrical products, wholesale or trading is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with purchasing or inventory software is an advantage.

Strong negotiation, communication and supplier follow-up skills.

Able to compare quotations, analyse prices and lead times, and make practical purchasing decisions.

Well-organised, detail-oriented and accurate when handling orders, prices and records.

Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an advantage when dealing with suppliers.

Manage the company’s daily purchasing activities for electrical products.

Check stock levels, sales requirements and upcoming orders to identify items that need to be purchased.

Source and communicate with local and overseas suppliers; compare quotations, product specifications, prices and delivery lead times.

Negotiate with suppliers to obtain suitable prices, payment terms and delivery arrangements.

Prepare and follow up on purchase orders to ensure goods arrive on time and match the agreed quantity and specifications.

Coordinate with the warehouse to check incoming goods and resolve shortages, damages or incorrect deliveries with suppliers.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, including supplier quotations, purchase orders, prices and delivery documents.

Monitor stock levels and recommend reordering to reduce stock shortages and avoid unnecessary overstocking.

Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Accounts and Management to understand purchasing needs and delivery priorities.

Review supplier performance and build reliable working relationships with suppliers.

Follow up on shipment schedules and import documents for overseas purchases, where required.
