Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day IT technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, network and system-related issues.

Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals and other office IT equipment.

Perform network troubleshooting and administration, including LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switches and connectivity issues.

Assist with Sophos Firewall administration, configuration and troubleshooting, as well as Microsoft Active Directory management, including user accounts, password resets, access permissions and Group Policy.

Support Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications, including installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

Coordinate with external IT vendors on equipment procurement, installation, repairs, warranty claims and maintenance services.

Manage IT equipment setup, deployment and inventory, as well as employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective.

Provide remote IT support to employees, including hybrid-working staff, and conduct on-site support when required.

Assist in implementing and maintaining AI security policies and guidelines, supporting the secure adoption of Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot.

Identify potential AI-related security risks, including confidential data leakage, unauthorised AI usage and misuse of AI applications, and assist with appropriate security controls.

Maintain IT and AI security documentation, usage guidelines and employee awareness materials, while keeping updated on emerging security risks and best practices.

Coordinate with external IT security vendors or consultants on technical issues, AI security assessments and other IT-related matters.

Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.

Relevant experience in IT support, helpdesk, desktop support or IT infrastructure operations.

Good knowledge of Windows desktop and laptop troubleshooting, hardware maintenance and Microsoft 365 applications.

Exposure to Generative AI tools and AI security governance would be an advantage.

Willing to provide occasional on-site IT support when required.
