Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operations and administration of the QA office.
• Develop, review, and maintain College’s quality policies, procedures, guidelines, and processes including quality nuances/scorecards, quality assurance departmental procedures, and other quality-related materials.
• Responsible for ensuring Quality Manual, Risk Register Analysis and standard procedures are updated annually.
• Plan, coordinate and manage key quality events, including annual internal audit, periodic reviews (Programme Monitoring, Programme Review, quality related activities and, provide support and guidance to auditors as and when required.
• Identify internal auditors, train/retrain the auditors and Faculty Quality Officers on ISO requirements, plan for internal audit and compile internal audit reports for Management Review.
• Develop and deliver training/workshop for faculty members in academic quality assurance, curriculum design and delivery, assessment methods and learning outcomes, and quality assurance and accreditation.
• Interpret internal audit findings and prepare an annual summary report together with Chief Internal Auditor, which will be presented during the annual Management Review Meeting and used for continuous quality improvement.
• To ensure compliance and closure of all gaps and opportunity for improvement via implementation of corrective and preventive measures from each audit.
• Organise and conduct Management Review and Risk Management meeting with respective committee to review risk register and identify areas for improvement. Coordinate, compile and prepare all required documentation prior to the meetings.
• Ensure all documents are updated for SIRIM audit and liaise with SIRIM on audit matters.
• Stay abreast on up-to-date programme standards, best practices, and education policies from all relevant regulatory bodies and monitor adherence to government/regulatory requirements.
• Conduct review of documents to ensure compliance with requirements set by the regulatory bodies, such as the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and MoHE.
• Participate in accreditation processes to ensure that all accreditation requirements, timelines, and deadlines are met.
• Continuously review and improve on all matters related to academic and teaching standards so as to optimize student learning and experience. This includes setting of standards, monitoring key indicators and metrics measurement (SET, Quality KPI), curriculum development for both new and existing programs, and academic policies.
• To update and maintain all quality assurance folders (SIRIM, Internal Audit, Curriculum Change, Collaborative folders with Faculties on MS Teams and do an annual review to ensure all files have been updated
• Provide administrative support to academic departments regarding curriculum changes and academic quality assurance practices, including audit-related matters.
• Provide facilitator and logistic support for talks/workshops/seminars for admission and counselling organised by Quality and Learning Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field of studies
• Must have at least completed Certified Officer in Quality Assurance of Higher Education Training Programme Tier 1
• Knowledgeable/familiar in quality management system standards (ISO9001) and MQA regulatory standards and requirements
• Minimum 3 years of working experience encompassing strategic quality assurance, accreditation, and QA training, preferably in the education industry or an equivalent setting
• Excellent planning, observation, communication, interpersonal and time management skills
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia both writing and speaking
• Ability to perform with minimum supervision
