Hiring! Full Time Logistics Manager in Johor, Earn up to MYR 8,000 - Ricebowl

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 8 years’ experience in fleet operations, transport management, or logistics, with direct experience in the ready-mix concrete, quarry, or construction building materials industry.

• Hands-on experience with GPS, telematics, route optimization software, and dispatch management systems.

• Proven experience supervising operational staff, including dispatchers, heavy vehicle drivers, and plant assistants.

• Solid knowledge of local transport regulations, commercial vehicle weight limits, road safety standards, and driver duty-hour regulations.

Dispatch & Delivery Operations

• Plan, schedule, and oversee the dispatch of ready-mix concrete deliveries based on daily production, customer orders, and site demands.

• Liaise with plant managers, sales teams, clients, project managers, and site engineers to ensure accurate delivery timing, quantities, and site readiness.

• Manage order prioritization, adapt to changing customer requirements, and resolve real-time on-site delivery challenges.

• Monitor GPS and telematics systems to ensure route efficiency and timely delivery.

Plant & Fleet Optimization

• Coordinate closely with batching plant operators to align daily production schedules with delivery plans.

• Optimize turnarounds to minimize truck idle time and maximize plant capacity utilization.

• Oversee fleet upkeep to ensure mixer trucks and transport vehicles remain in excellent operating condition.

• Enforce strict compliance with safety, environmental, and road transport regulations (e.g., vehicle weight limits, driver duty hours).

Team Leadership & Administration

• Supervise, guide, and support dispatchers, drivers, and logistics assistants.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations, safety briefings, and training for the logistics team.

• Maintain complete operational logs, including delivery timings, vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and key logistics KPIs.

Cost Management & Ad Hoc

• Monitor logistics operational costs and execute strategies to cut fuel consumption, reduce delay penalties, and limit vehicle wear-and-tear.

• Perform any other operational or logistics duties assigned by management as needed.

• Prepare and submit daily and monthly logistics performance reports for senior management.
