Protect Food Safety Standards Across Singapore

We are looking for an experienced Food Safety Advisor to support food safety, quality, and operational excellence programmes across Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), hospitality, food service, and retail environments throughout Singapore.

This is an excellent opportunity for a food safety professional who enjoys conducting independent audits, strengthening food safety culture, and helping businesses maintain the highest operational and compliance standards.

What You'll Do

Food Safety Auditing

• Conduct independent food safety audits across QSR, hospitality, retail, and food service locations.
• Evaluate compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and operational procedures.
• Identify risks and recommend practical improvement opportunities.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings professionally.

Brand Protection

• Assess compliance with established food safety and brand protection programmes.
• Support clients in strengthening food safety culture and operational excellence.
• Recommend practical actions that improve compliance and reduce operational risk.
• Maintain the highest standards of professional integrity and audit independence.

Client Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with client management and operational teams.
• Present audit findings clearly and objectively.
• Support clients throughout continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality during all audit activities.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

Current Exemplar Global Food Safety Auditor qualification.

Current BRCGS Lead Auditor qualification.

Experience conducting food safety audits within high-risk or high-care food environments.

Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety management systems, and quality assurance principles.

Excellent communication and technical report writing skills.

Ability to work independently while managing multiple audit assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience auditing Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).

Hospitality or hotel industry experience.

Food manufacturing or food processing experience.

Retail food safety experience.

Brand Protection programmes.

Experience working as an independent consultant or contractor.

Familiarity with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) food safety regulations.
