Requirements
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on production or manufacturing experience within a feedmill, flour mill, food processing, or high-volume automated manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with quality management systems and standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, or equivalent).
Proficiency in computerized manufacturing execution systems (MES) or ERP software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automated PLC-based batching and milling control systems.
Working knowledge of feed milling processes (grinding, mixing, pelleting, steam conditioning).
Prior supervisory experience leading a shift of production operators in an agro-industrial setting.
Responsibilities
The Production Executive is responsible for overseeing the daily manufacturing operations of the poultry feedmill to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality feed production. The role directs manufacturing processes, optimizes resource utilization, maintains strict compliance with feed safety, biosecurity, and environmental regulations, and coordinates closely with maintenance, quality control, and supply chain teams to meet production targets cost-effectively.
Production Planning and Operational Execution
Direct and supervise all daily feedmill processing activities—including receiving raw materials, grinding, batching, mixing, pelleting, and bagging/bulk loadout—to achieve scheduled output targets while minimizing downtime and operational bottlenecks.
Quality Assurance and Feed Safety Compliance
Monitor critical control points (such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards) throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring strict adherence to nutritional specifications, biosecurity protocols, and regulatory standards to prevent cross-contamination and guarantee animal feed safety.
Equipment Maintenance and Reliability Coordination
Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance teams to execute preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot mechanical or automation failures rapidly, and minimize unplanned equipment downtime in a high-demand processing environment.
Inventory, Yield, and Cost Management
Track raw material usage, finished goods inventory, and manufacturing yields closely, identifying variance drivers and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, control utility consumption, and optimize production costs.
EHS Compliance, Training, and Team Leadership
Enforce a strong safety culture by ensuring operators comply with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines, conduct safety briefings, manage shift rosters, and provide on-the-job training for production operators.
