Job Description
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate land and engineering surveying activities throughout the construction project lifecycle.
Plan and supervise site measurements, setting-out works and survey calculations to ensure accuracy against approved drawings.
Establish, verify and maintain site control points, benchmarks, coordinates, levels and construction alignment.
Operate and oversee the use of Total Station and other surveying equipment.
Review, process and verify survey data before releasing information for construction use.
Coordinate with the QA/QC team to verify subcontractors’ setting-out works and resolve identified discrepancies.
Organise daily surveying schedules and coordinate requirements with the Construction Team and relevant stakeholders.
Prepare and review setting-out drawings, survey reports and supporting technical records.
Work closely with the BIM team to investigate coordination issues and resolve differences between models, drawings and site measurements.
Verify completed works and provide accurate survey information for as-built drawings.
Identify potential survey errors, assess their impact and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure surveying activities are conducted safely and in accordance with project specifications, quality procedures and applicable requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
