A highly successful and rapidly growing Malaysian homegrown F&B brand is seeking a commercially astute and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of growth for an established consumer brand with a strong market presence and ambitious expansion plans.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be responsible for leading the overall finance function while serving as a key business partner to the executive team. Beyond traditional financial stewardship, the role will focus on supporting strategic decision-making, driving operational performance, strengthening governance frameworks and ensuring the financial sustainability of the business as it continues to scale.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of finance, including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, treasury, tax, audit, compliance and risk management. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the CFO will provide meaningful financial insights to support business initiatives, evaluate growth opportunities and optimise profitability across a multi-site operating environment.

We are looking for an experienced finance leader with a strong track record in consumer-facing industries such as F&B, retail, hospitality or FMCG. The ideal candidate will possess both strategic vision and hands-on execution capabilities with the ability to navigate a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. Experience supporting business expansion, transformation and operational scaling will be highly valued.

Candidates should hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with a professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent preferred. Strong leadership capabilities, commercial acumen and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation are essential for success in this role.
