Role Description The Project Manager (Warehouse Automation) role at XTS TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD is a full-time, on-site position based in Selangor, Malaysia. The individual in this role oversees end-to-end warehouse automation projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal engineering, procurement, and installation teams, as well as external vendors and clients to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services. The Project Manager tracks project milestones, manages risks, and resolves issues related to expediting, logistics, and inspections. This role also involves conducting site visits, monitoring installation and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, preparing progress reports, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Expeditor and Expediting skills for monitoring order status, following up with suppliers, and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Inspection skills for overseeing equipment quality checks, site inspections, and compliance with technical specifications.
• Logistics Management skills for organizing transportation, warehousing, and material handling related to automation projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience managing industrial automation or warehouse projects, preferably in manufacturing or logistics environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Proficiency with project management tools and MS Office; familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Selangor, Malaysia, and travel to project locations as required.
