Responsibilities
Scope of work and responsibilities
Handle full sets of accounts for a portfolio of client companies.
Prepare timely and accurate accounting records, including Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations, journal entries and balance sheet schedules.
Liaise and coordinate with clients and external parties, including auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial service providers and relevant government authorities, where required.
Prepare tax schedules and supporting documents for corporate tax filing.
Assist with audit and tax-related queries and provide the necessary accounting information and supporting documents.
Follow up with clients on outstanding accounting records, documents and information required for account preparation.
Provide ad-hoc accounting support and assist with other assignments or projects as required.
Qualifications
Degree in Accounting or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in similar role, and is familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Corporate Tax Statutory requirement
Proficient in Microsoft office and familiarity with accounting system will be advantageous
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Meticulous, multitasking and able to handle tight datelines
