Plant Finance Controller (Vietnamese Speaker)

About the Company

Our client is a global manufacturing organization with a strong presence across Asia Pacific. Due to business growth, they are looking for a Plant Finance Controller to support finance partnering activities across manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will serve as a key business partner to Supply Chain and Operations stakeholders, providing financial insights to support decision-making, cost optimization, and operational performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Business partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations teams.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance analysis for supply chain and manufacturing functions.
• Analyze production costs, inventory movements, logistics spend, and operational KPIs.
• Support inventory accounting, stock valuation, provisions, and inventory control processes.
• Drive cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives through financial analysis and performance tracking.
• Monitor standard costing, manufacturing variances, and cost performance against budgets.
• Support month-end close activities relating to inventory and supply chain finance.
• Evaluate business cases, capital investments, and cost-saving projects.
• Prepare management reports and financial insights for regional and local leadership teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and governance requirements.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, CA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Supply Chain Finance, Manufacturing Finance, Operations Finance, Plant Finance, Cost Accounting, or FP&A.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Cost accounting
  • Standard costing
  • Inventory accounting
  • Budgeting & forecasting
  • Variance analysis
  • Manufacturing and supply chain operations
• Experience partnering with operations, manufacturing, or supply chain stakeholders.
• SAP or other major ERP system experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Vietnamese language capability is mandatory
