Raffles American School Hiring! Full Time Finance Executive (Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable) in Johor - Ricebowl

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience in an educational institute will be and added advantage.

• Good knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations and internal controls.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting systems.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle parent and vendor enquiries professionally.

• Good numerical and analytical skills, with a high level of efficiency and accuracy.

• Strong work ethic, professional attitude and sense of responsibility.

• Meticulous, organised and a team player, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines consistently.

• Reliable and proactive, with good time management skills and the ability to complete tasks and submit reports promptly.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable (AP): Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, staff claims and statutory payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

• Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage invoicing, receipts, school collections, outstanding balances and parent enquiries, ensuring accurate billing and customer account records.

• Cash and Bank Management: Prepare daily cash reports, maintain bank records and assist with bank reconciliations.

• Financial Reporting and Closing: Prepare relevant schedules and reports, reconcile customer accounts, and support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.

• E-Invoicing and Compliance: Ensure accurate e-Invoice submissions, maintain proper documentation and support audit requirements.

• Refunds and General Finance Operations: Coordinate student withdrawal financial settlements, including refunds and outstanding payments, and provide operational support to the Finance Department as required.
