Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden Corporation Hiring! Full Time Part-Time Officer (Programme and Production Support), 12-Month Contract in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Major responsibilities

Assist Regenerative Agriculture Department (RAD) to proceed outreach farming programmes. The scope of work includes farmer training courses, as well as promoting local urban agriculture and farm-based food education.

Event development; including

• Farmer Training courses
• Workshops and seminar on urban agriculture
• Workshops and Farm Tours of farm-based food education

Administration Support

• Managing financial revenue and expenditure arrangements
• Tools and material management.
• Assist in writing project report.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Education, Social Science, Environmental Science or related disciplines.
• Project management, agricultural science, agricultural management background and community garden operation is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, coordinating and delivering community projects or educational programs.
• Well-organized with strong administrative, operational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated with a positive work ethic and a strong commitment to sustainable agriculture.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays as required by the operational schedule.
• 2 days per week
