Responsibilities
WE ARE HIRING – RETAIL SALES ASSISTANT
Industry: Apparel Retail
Salary Range: S$2,500 – S$3,500 (Including Commission)
Off Days: 6 days per month (Weekdays only)
Job Responsibilities
1. Customer Service & Sales
- Attend to customers and understand their needs.
- Introduce suitable products and provide recommendations.
- Assist customers with their purchases and provide a pleasant shopping experience.
- Work towards achieving individual and store sales targets.
2. Inventory Management
- Check and maintain stock inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and replenish merchandise when necessary.
- Ensure stock quantities are accurate and properly organised.
3. Stock Arrangement & Display
- Arrange, fold and replenish merchandise neatly.
- Maintain attractive product displays and window displays.
- Ensure the store is tidy, presentable and well organised.
4. Cashier Duties
- Handle cash payments, credit card transactions and other payment methods.
- Ensure all transactions are processed accurately.
- Assist with daily cashier closing and sales reconciliation when required.
5. Daily Store Operations
- Maintain store cleanliness and overall presentation.
- Assist with daily opening and closing duties.
- Follow company procedures and store operating standards.
6. Teamwork
- Work closely with the Store Manager and team members.
- Support daily store operations and promotional activities.
- Contribute to achieving the store's overall sales targets.
Requirements
- Good customer service attitude and communication skills.
- Positive, responsible and willing to learn.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, especially in stock handling and cashier duties.
- Comfortable working in a retail environment.
- Previous retail or apparel sales experience will be an advantage.
