Responsibilities

We Are Hiring | Abiel Future Leaders Programme

Beyond an Internship. A Pathway to a Career in Real Estate Investment & Asset Management.

At Abiel Asset Management, we believe that an internship should be more than a temporary placement, administrative work or another line on a résumé.

It should be an opportunity to gain meaningful industry experience, develop professional judgement and discover whether a long-term career in real estate investment and asset management is right for you.

We are introducing the Abiel Future Leaders Programme, a structured internship pathway designed to identify, mentor and develop individuals with the potential to become part of Abiel’s next generation of leaders.

Two Stages. One Long-Term Vision.

Stage 1 | Exploratory Internship (3 Months)

An initial three-month engagement offering selected candidates the opportunity to:

  • Gain firsthand exposure to commercial real estate investment and asset management.
  • Participate in actual investment research, financial analysis, asset enhancement initiatives and operational projects.
  • Work alongside experienced professionals and understand how investment decisions are made.
  • Demonstrate initiative, analytical ability, commitment and professional potential.

At the end of three months, suitable candidates may be invited to progress to the next stage.

Stage 2 | Abiel Future Leaders Programme (6–12 Months)

This is where the deeper professional development begins.

Selected candidates will receive:

  • Direct coaching and mentorship from Abiel’s founder and senior management.
  • Active participation in real asset management work, investment evaluation, portfolio strategy and asset enhancement projects.
  • Increasing responsibility, with opportunities to contribute to actual business and investment decisions.
  • Structured professional development and performance reviews.
  • Remuneration that reflects the increased commitment, responsibilities and contribution beyond the exploratory stage.
  • Potential consideration for permanent employment and long-term career progression within Abiel.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are not looking for candidates who simply want to complete an internship requirement.

We are looking for individuals who are genuinely curious about commercial real estate, investment and entrepreneurship — people who are willing to learn, take ownership, challenge themselves and commit to developing a career in this industry.

Prior experience is valuable, but attitude, intellectual curiosity, integrity and a willingness to work hard matter just as much.

Our Commitment

At Abiel, we are not interested in creating an internship programme where participants leave having gained little practical value.

Our intention is to invest meaningful time in mentoring promising individuals, giving them genuine exposure to our business and helping them build capabilities that will serve them throughout their careers.

In return, we expect seriousness of purpose, initiative and a genuine interest in pursuing a longer-term career with Abiel or within the real estate investment industry.

We are not simply recruiting interns. We are investing in future leaders.

Competitive Remuneration Reflecting Real Responsibilities

Unlike conventional internships, the Abiel Future Leaders Programme is designed as a professional development pathway. Candidates progressing beyond the initial three-month exploratory stage will receive enhanced remuneration commensurate with their responsibilities, performance and commitment.

We believe that individuals who demonstrate the ability to contribute meaningfully to our investment and asset management activities should be recognised and rewarded accordingly.

If this resonates with your career aspirations, we would welcome hearing from you.
