1. System & Strategy Monitoring

• Verify that the real-time trading server (RTSvr) is operational and all active strategies are loaded correctly.

• Confirm signal feeds are publishing normally and strategy counts match expected configurations.

• Review overnight walk-forward performance and flag strategies showing unusual drawdown or degraded performance metrics.

• Monitor system health, strategy status, and trading connectivity throughout the trading session.

2. Trading & Execution Monitoring

• Monitor live P&L, position counts, and per-strategy exposure in real time.

• Monitor order execution for missed fills, partial fills, unexpected holds, runaway sizing, or other execution anomalies.

• Monitor halted, illiquid, or restricted securities where automated execution or exit logic may be impaired.

• Ensure positions are closed within defined EOD exit parameters unless an approved overnight hold is in place.

3. Broker & Account Monitoring

• Monitor DAS Trader Pro connectivity and trading account status.

• Identify and escalate connectivity, order routing, or account-related issues that may affect live trading.

4. Market & Risk Monitoring

• Review relevant market news, circuit breakers, gap lists, trading halts, and other market events that may affect automated strategy behaviour.

• Enforce approved daily hard-stop and risk-management rules.

• Where automated risk controls fail to self-correct within the defined window, execute appropriate intervention in accordance with approved procedures.

• Escalate material risk or trading incidents immediately.

5. Incident Management

• Maintain a detailed incident log covering:
  - Time
  - Ticker
  - Strategy
  - Issue type
  - Action taken
  - Resolution / outcome

• Escalate server-side or strategy-related issues to Engineering with relevant timestamps, error context, logs, and affected strategies.

• Maintain clear and timely communication in the operations channel during periods of high trading activity.

6. End-of-Day Reconciliation & Reporting

• Confirm all positions are flat at the end of the trading session or document approved overnight positions.

• Reconcile actual trade activity against expected strategy output.

• Review actual P&L against expected performance.

• Prepare an EOD operations summary covering:
  - Notable trades
  - Incidents and resolutions
  - P&L vs. expected
  - Execution anomalies
  - Strategy performance concerns

• Flag materially underperforming strategies for Engineering / Quant review.
