LOOKING FOR A HANDS-ON ACCOUNTS ROLE WHERE YOU OWN THE NUMBERS?

Hydro One is looking for an Accounts Executive to manage the full accounting cycle of our manufacturing arm while remaining hands-on with the daily transactions that keep the business running.

This is a role for someone who can close monthly accounts, not merely key in invoices - but who is also willing to handle invoicing, supplier payments and payroll as part of a practical SME finance role.

Who We Want

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.

• 2-3  years of hands-on accounting experience; in manufacturing/trading

• Able to handle full set and monthly closing with limited supervision.

• Hands-on AP, invoicing, supplier payments and payroll experience.

• Good Excel and accounting software capability.

• Accurate, dependable, organised and comfortable with recurring deadlines.

What You Will Do

• Maintain full set of accounts and complete month-end closing.

• Prepare bank and balance-sheet reconciliations and management-account schedules.

• Issue sales invoices and delivery orders accurately and promptly.

• Check supplier invoices, prepare payment schedules/vouchers and process approved payments.

• Prepare monthly payroll and maintain payroll records.

• Maintain proper supporting documents for audit/tax/management review.

• Perform selected administrative tasks related to finance and office/manufacturing support.
