Education: Minimum SPM / O-Level, SKM, or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Technology, Hospitality, or equivalent.

Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome; prior experience as kitchen crew, commis, or in R&D/food production is an added advantage.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Basic culinary skills, knife skills, and food preparation technique knowledge.

• Understanding of food hygiene, food safety standards, and Halal requirements.

• Ability to follow recipe measurements and SOPs accurately.

Attributes: Attention to detail, good team player, willing to learn, and passionate about food product development.

Assist in the preparation of new products for the Research & Development (R&D) department, such as juices, cold kitchen items, desserts, pastries, and related products.

Execute raw ingredient preparation, cutting, measuring, and product preparation according to set recipes and SOPs.

Operate and ensure all kitchen equipment, machinery, and production tools are used safely and kept clean.

Assist in product testing processes, recipe improvements, and sample preparation for testing or presentation purposes.

Ensure product quality, taste, texture, and presentation are consistently maintained according to company standards.

Perform neat and accurate packing, sealing, and labeling of sample or product development items.

Comply with food hygiene standards, food safety regulations, and Halal requirements throughout the food preparation process.

Assist in monitoring raw material stock, ingredient storage, and inventory preparation related to R&D.

Ensure kitchen areas, workstations, cold rooms, and the R&D space remain clean, neat, and organized.

Report any issues regarding product quality, equipment damage, or ingredient shortages to the supervisor.

Collaborate with the R&D and operations teams to ensure smooth product development processes within designated timelines.
