High school diploma or equivalent (SPM/'O' Level) is required.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or petrol station environment.

Proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including making change and balancing the till at the end of shifts.

Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems for processing sales, returns, and other transactions.

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor to assist customers with inquiries and purchases.

Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with a diverse customer base.

Basic understanding of inventory management principles to assist with stock checks and replenishment as needed.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the petrol station's operating schedule.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as stocking shelves and cleaning the convenience store area.

Operate the cash register and POS system accurately to process customer transactions for fuel, convenience store items, and other services.

Provide friendly and efficient customer service, greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product selection.

Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods securely and accurately, ensuring proper change is given and all transactions are balanced at the end of each shift.

Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves, facing products, and performing general housekeeping duties.

Monitor inventory levels for convenience store items, report low stock to management, and assist with receiving and stocking new merchandise.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and customer service standards.

Identify and report any suspicious activity or potential security risks to management promptly.

Promote special offers, loyalty programs, and new products to customers to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
