Technical Skills

• Able to troubleshoot electrical faults and perform preventive maintenance.

• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

• Familiar with electrical testing equipment such as multimeter, insulation tester and clamp meter.

• Knowledge of PLC, motor control and industrial electrical systems is an added advantage.

Other Requirements

• Perform installation, maintenance, inspection and repair of electrical systems, equipment and machinery.

• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults, breakdowns and power supply issues to minimize equipment downtime.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, control panels, MCC, transformers, switchboards and electrical equipment.

• Perform electrical wiring, cable installation, termination and connection according to electrical drawings and safety standards.

• Conduct regular inspection and testing of electrical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

• Maintain and troubleshoot 3-phase electrical systems, motor control circuits, VFDs and PLC-related electrical systems.

• Assist in the installation, commissioning and modification of new electrical equipment and machinery.

• Use electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters and insulation testers for troubleshooting and maintenance.

• Record maintenance activities, electrical faults, repair work and equipment conditions.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements, electrical safety procedures and company HSE policies.

• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth and continuous plant operations.

• Perform other electrical maintenance duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor.
