Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or equivalent.

• Professional qualification such as CTIM, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent will be an added advantage.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant Malaysian taxation experience, preferably in an accounting, audit or tax firm.

• Strong knowledge of Malaysian corporate and individual taxation.

• Good exposure to tax advisory, tax audits and investigations.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Able to communicate confidently and professionally with clients.

• Good analytical, problem-solving and technical tax skills.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments and deadlines

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead and manage our tax team. If you have solid Malaysian taxation experience, enjoy solving complex tax matters, and are confident in advising clients and guiding a team, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Tax Department, ensuring timely and quality delivery of tax assignments.

• Review corporate and individual income tax computations and tax returns.

• Handle and advise on Malaysian direct and indirect tax matters, including Corporate Tax, Personal Tax, SST, Withholding Tax, RPGT and Stamp Duty.

• Provide practical tax advice and solutions to clients on various tax matters.

• Manage tax compliance, tax planning and advisory assignments.

• Handle LHDN tax audits, investigations, queries and appeals.

• Review and resolve complex tax issues arising from client engagements.

• Supervise, coach and provide technical guidance to tax team members.

• Liaise with clients and relevant authorities on tax-related matters.

• Keep up to date with changes in Malaysian tax legislation, guidelines and practices.
