Prior experience as a Sushi Chef or in Japanese cuisine an advantage but not mandatory

Strong knife skills and knowledge of Japanese ingredients preferred

Good understanding of food safety practices

Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Prepare sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to recipe standards

Select, handle, and prepare fresh seafood and ingredients

Maintain proper food hygiene, safety, and storage standards

Manage stock levels of sushi-related ingredients

Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control

Train junior kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station
