Accounting Officer

Financial

• Directs associates to ensure productivity meets standards given in accordance with Hyatt Design Standards and Criteria and the Hyatt International Finance Operations Manual.
• Be fully familiar with internal control procedures.
• Ensure smooth month-end closing.
• Ensures that all policies and procedures are being followed. Counts cash on hand, inspects notes receivable and payable, negotiable.
• Focuses attention on improving productivity levels and the need to prudently manage utility/payroll costs within acceptable guidelines ensuring optimum deployment and energy efficiency of all equipment.
• Ensures new technology and equipment are embraced, improving productivity whilst taking work out of the system.

Operational

• The role is subject to job rotation within the accounting functions.
• Always ensure fully compliance to:-
• Malaysian Accounting Standard Board
• Hotel Management Agreement
• USALI (Uniform System of Accounting)
• Hyatt Global Hotel Accounting Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
• US GAAP

Requirements

• Able to work on night shift or rotation shift.
• Able to work on weekend and public holiday.
• Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia
