Job Overview

Established in 2011, Koseido Engineering specialises in providing test solutions for semiconductor back-end manufacturing.

We are expanding our team and looking for motivated Service Engineers and Senior Service Engineers to support our installed semiconductor equipment, particularly IC pick-and-place systems and turret test handlers.

The ideal candidates should have strong technical knowledge, good problem-solving skills, and a willingness to travel to customer sites across Malaysia and overseas.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for the Service Engineer position.
• Experience in operating, troubleshooting, or maintaining semiconductor test handlers or related equipment is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics, technical drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to communicate in English. Mandarin communication skills are an advantage.
• Willing to travel frequently to customer sites within Malaysia and overseas.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays when required to support customer operations.
• Responsible, self-motivated, and willing to learn new technologies and equipment systems.

• Perform installation, setup, testing, and commissioning of new semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for IC pick-and-place systems and turret test handlers.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related issues to minimise downtime.
• Support customers with technical enquiries, equipment performance issues, and after-sales service requirements.
• Conduct operational and maintenance training for customers to ensure proper equipment handling.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment weaknesses or recurring technical issues for continuous improvement.
• Work closely with internal engineering teams to provide technical feedback and recommend improvements to equipment performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and technical servicing when required.
• Support multiple customer sites across Malaysia and overseas based on operational needs.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation following site visits.
• Perform other technical or service-related duties assigned by management.
