Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

Preferably 3–5 years of relevant working experience in an audit firm.

Strong knowledge of auditing principles, procedures and applicable financial reporting standards, including MFRS and MPERS.

Good understanding of financial statements, audit procedures and Malaysian taxation laws (an added advantage).

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, with good attention to detail.

Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently or as part of a team, manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Plan, execute and complete audit assignments in accordance with approved audit programmes and applicable auditing standards.

Prepare audit working papers, audit schedules and supporting documentation.

Perform audit procedures, including vouching, verification, analytical reviews and substantive testing.

Examine financial statements and accounting records to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with applicable financial reporting standards.

Identify audit risks, discrepancies and internal control weaknesses, and communicate findings to the audit manager or partner.

Liaise with clients to obtain necessary documents, clarify audit queries and resolve outstanding matters.

Assist in preparing financial statements and audit reports.

Monitor audit progress and ensure assignments are completed within agreed deadlines.

Perform other audit-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
