About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join Evervolve as an independent contractor.
  • The role involves working with children aged 2–10 years and their families, supporting sensory processing, self regulation, motor development, play, social participation and everyday functional skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment: Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments using clinical observations, standardised tools and functional assessments, and prepare clear, professional reports.
  • Intervention: Plan and deliver individualised, evidence-informed occupational therapy sessions aligned with each child's strengths, developmental profile and participation goals.
  • Goal Setting and Reviews: Collaboratively establish meaningful, functional goals with children and families, monitor progress and review intervention plans.
  • Parent Coaching: Provide practical strategies, education and coaching to support children's participation in daily routines and activities.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with educators, schools, caregivers and other healthcare professionals to promote consistent, coordinated support.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely and professional clinical records, reports and progress summaries in accordance with practice policies and professional standards.
  • Professional Practice: Maintain ethical, neuroaffirming and family-centred practice, including appropriate clinical reasoning, confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Essential Requirements

  • Recognised degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full registration with Singapore's Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) and a valid Practising Certificate.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in paediatric occupational therapy.
  • Formal training in Sensory Integration and DIR/Floortime approaches.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with diverse developmental, sensory, motor and self-regulation profiles.
  • Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and intervention planning skills.
  • Commitment to neuroaffirming, strengths-based and family-centred practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain clinical findings and recommendations clearly to families and educators.
  • Strong organisational, administrative and clinical documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage clinical responsibilities and collaborate effectively with other professionals.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • DIR/Floortime certification.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or recognised certification in Sensory Integration.
  • Experience providing school based intervention.
  • Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Mandarin.
