Job Description

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for all halal matters and handle Halal Certification for all required products.
  • Liaise with JAKIM/JAIN on halal related matters including audits.
  • Conduct training related to food safety management system, organic standard and halal to staff.
  • Handle customer complaint and conduct QA investigations.
  • Arrange retain samples and monthly pest control services.
  • Assist in managing external Food Safety & Quality audits to ensure implementation in accordance to standard applied.
  • To support in ensuring daily quality and food safety operations within the department including calibration of devices.
  • To conduct internal audit as per schedule and review the CARs plan and evaluate the effectivenesss.
  • Asist on HACCP and others food safety certification.
  • Assist in preparing related documentation when needed.
  • Assist in food safety management system implementation and maintaining the system and certification.
  • Review and analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
  • Also maintain and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, customer and legislative and requirements.
  • Any other duties as directed by Management/Superior from time to time.

REQUIREMENT

  • Diploma or Degree in Halal Management, Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Nutrition or related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of working experience as a Halal Executive, preferably within a hospitality, hotel.
  • Required Language (s) English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Posses a Profesional Halal Executive Certification by Halal Professional Board (HPB).
  • Deep understanding of local Halal standards, certification processes, manual procedures, and food safety standards (HACCP/GMP is a strong advantage).
  • Good documentation and organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and able to work with different departments.
  • Able to conduct inspections and follow up on issues.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
