About the role

We are seeking an Ocean Freight Operations Coordinator / Executive to provide control tower support for Vietnam trade operations, ensuring smooth shipment execution, SOP compliance, and close coordination with the Vietnam agent and customers.

What you'll be doing

• Act as the control tower for Vietnam shipments, overseeing execution from booking to delivery.
• Follow SOPs and maintain operational accuracy and compliance.
• Work closely with the Vietnam agent, customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Monitor shipments, provide timely updates, and resolve issues proactively.
• Coordinate and follow up on exception approvals.
• Prepare and submit Importer Security Filing (ISF) information accurately and on time.
• Maintain essential reports and support process improvements.

What we're looking for

• 1-3 years’ Experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics operations preferred.
• Experience in following up with and overseeing agents is highly valued.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good command of English / Cantonese is an advantage.
• Strong team spirit and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
