About Our Client

Our client, a well-established legal practice specialising in conveyancing, banking and commercial transactions, is expanding its team and looking for an experienced Senior Associate (Conveyancing) to join their Petaling Jaya branch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team lawyers
• Oversee the team's conveyancing matters and ensure timely and efficient delivery of work
• Handle sub-sale transactions, including SPA & Loan matters
• Handle commercial loan matters and related documentation
• Draft, review and attend to legal documents, correspondence and agreements
• Liaise with clients, banks, developers, agents and relevant authorities
• Provide guidance to team members and review work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Monitor file progress and ensure matters are completed within required timelines

Requirements:

• Malaysian qualified lawyer with a valid Practising Certificate
• Minimum 5 years PQE with solid conveyancing experience
• Hands-on experience in both sub-sale (SPA & Loan) and commercial loan matters
• Experience in leading, supervising or mentoring lawyers will be an advantage
• Good understanding of conveyancing procedures and banking documentation
• Strong drafting, communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to manage matters independently and work effectively under deadlines
• Ability to read and write Mandarin would be an advantage
