We're Hiring: Name Screening Specialist

Are you passionate about compliance, risk management, and making a real impact in the financial world? We're looking for a Name Screening Specialist to join our growing team and help us stay ahead of AML and sanctions risks in Kuala Lumpur market.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in AML/Screening within a financial institution
• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to evaluate complex data from multiple sources
• Deep understanding of sanctions, AML, and CTF regulations
• Familiarity with name screening tools and desktop research using public and licensed data sources
• Positive, problem-solving mindset and a collaborative attitude

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct thorough name screening using advanced tools and databases- experience in the system LSCG Word-check is welcomed to apply
• Analyze results to assess sanctions risks and recommend next steps
• Stay current with legal and regulatory requirements related to Sanctions to ensure compliance in screening process
• Collaborate across teams to gather insights and improve risk assessments
• Mentor junior analysts and help refine screening protocols and best practices
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and mitigation strategies
• Contribute to training programs and process improvements in account services
• Perform other non-screening tasks that may be assigned by line manager to ensure the effective discharge of the tasks assigned (such as process improvements in the account services workflow)
