SUMMARY

Supporting the Compliance team, you will act as the primary second-line escalation authority for Customer Due Diligence cases across corporate and retail clients. You will be responsible for identifying financial crime red flags, conducting deep-dive investigations, and assessing or filing Suspicious Transaction Reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the final escalation authority for retail/corporate onboarding and periodic reviews, PEPs, adverse media/SAN and exception handling.

• Detect financial crime red flags across profiles, conduct complex investigations and draft Suspicious Transaction Reports.

• Perform gap analysis, risk assessments and ensure case reviews adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Where required, support the maintenance of policies/procedures, regulatory reporting, as well as rule tuning and testing of system releases.

• Carry out additional responsibilities and ad-hoc tasks as assigned, contributing to team goals and organisational success.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.

• Min 5 years in Compliance with a focus on AML Escalations.

• Expertise in retail and corporate CDD, various ownership structures, red flag analysis, STR/SAR filings.

• A keen eye for detail with the ability to navigate and precisely execute and tune specialized operational / system workflows are essential.
