Role Description The Spanish Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Kajang. This role involves planning and delivering engaging Spanish language lessons for primary and secondary students, using varied teaching methods to support different learning styles. The Spanish Teacher will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and offer additional support through tutoring or small-group sessions when needed. Responsibilities include developing and refining curriculum materials, preparing teaching resources, and maintaining accurate records of attendance, assessments, and reports. The Spanish Teacher will also collaborate with other educators, participate in school events and outdoor activities, and help foster a supportive, family-style learning environment in line with Maverick’s values.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Spanish Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to instruct learners of different ages and proficiency levels.
• Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design structured, age-appropriate and engaging Spanish language programs.
• Candidates should possess skills in Tutoring to provide individualized or small-group support to students who need additional guidance.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish and English, with clear, age-appropriate communication skills.
• Relevant teaching certification or degree in Spanish, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience teaching in a school setting, preferably with mixed-ability or alternative education environments.
• Ability to create an inclusive, respectful classroom that supports diverse backgrounds and learning needs.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a collaborative attitude toward colleagues, students, and families.
