Job Role:- Solaris AIX Engineer

Job Location:- Singapore

Experience:- 8-12 Years

Roles & Responsibilities:-

• Administer and maintain Solaris and IBM AIX server environments.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, patch planning, OS updates and security remediation.
• Execute OS, hardware and firmware patching using BigFix, SCCM or similar tools.
• Automate pre- and post-patching checks and validate system stability after deployments.
• Troubleshoot OS, hardware and patch-related issues.
• Support clustering, RAID, system logs, availability and disaster recovery activities.
• Maintain patch compliance reports, operational documentation and change records.
• Provide scheduled maintenance, weekend roster and on-call support as required.

Skills & Requirements:-

• 8?12 years of Linux/Unix system administration experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Solaris and IBM AIX administration and patching.
• Mandatory experience in patch management, vulnerability assessment and remediation.
• Experience with BigFix, SCCM or similar patch management tools.
• Knowledge of clustering, RAID, hardware/firmware upgrades and shell scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Good communication and incident management skills; ability to work in an SLA-driven environment.
