Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Singapore. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents, as well as conducting measurements and valuations for construction projects. Daily tasks include monitoring project costs, assessing variations, preparing interim and final accounts, and supporting contract negotiations. The role also involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors, reviewing drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, and providing regular cost reports to stakeholders. The successful candidate will help optimize project costs while maintaining quality and adherence to timelines.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong quantitative and analytical skills, including cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for construction projects.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of contracts, procurement processes, tendering procedures, and relevant construction standards and regulations.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in measurement and valuation techniques, including experience with bills of quantities and variation assessments.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred; professional membership (e.g., RICS or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Prior experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on building or infrastructure projects in Singapore or the region will be beneficial.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, cost management tools, and basic CAD or BIM familiarity) is an advantage.
